Jobs
AI Job Writer
A full job post from a short brief, in your workspace’s tone, with an inclusive-language check that explains every suggestion.
Draft From a Brief
- In New Job or a job’s Overview, open AI Writer → Draft above the description.
- Add the level, team and must-haves. Nice-to-haves, pay, benefits and notes are optional. Title, location and workplace come from the job form.
- You see the draft first. Use this draft puts it in the description (it asks before replacing text you wrote).
Facts Stay Yours
- Pay and benefits appear only when you type them in the brief, exactly as written. Leave them blank and the post doesn’t mention them.
- Rewrite, Shorten and Expand keep your facts. If the AI adds a pay or benefit line that wasn’t there, it’s removed and you’re told.
- The writer never invents company facts. Add your About Us text once in Settings → Job Writer, with the tone (Friendly, Professional, Concise or Bold) and style notes.
Inclusive Language Check
- Free and instant, as you type. It flags gender-coded words, age-related wording, ability and background wording, exclusionary jargon and requirements that may not be needed (like long years-of-experience minimums).
- Each flag says why and offers alternatives. Nothing changes until you pick one; you can also ignore it.
Skills, Knockout Questions and Interview Kits
- Skills are saved on the job and help match scores. They aren’t shown on the careers page.
- Knockout questions are added to the application form as yes/no questions. They flag answers; nobody is rejected automatically.
- Interview rounds link to the job’s Interview Kits tab, where you can draft a kit per stage.
Cost and Limits
Each draft, rewrite or suggestion is one AI use. Each workspace has a daily limit (60 by default, resets at midnight UTC), shown at the bottom of the writer. Without AI you get a template filled in from your brief. The language check never uses AI.
API and MCP
POST /api/v1/job-descriptions/draft, /rewrite and /check return text and never save. MCP tools: draft_job_description, rewrite_job_description, check_job_description_language. A job’s skills can be read and set with GET/PATCH /api/v1/jobs/:id.
