Clear about what it does
Otter doesn't rank, score or reject candidates automatically. AI features are processed by our AI provider, listed in our Privacy policy, and only the text or images needed for the task are sent.
Does Otter's AI decide who gets hired?
No. AI is used to read resumes and answer questions. Otter doesn't automatically rank, score or reject candidates — your team makes those calls.
What happens when the daily AI limit is reached?
Resumes are still added and parsed with Otter's rule-based parser. AI parsing resumes the next day.
Which AI provider do you use?
Our sub-processors, including the AI provider, are listed in the Privacy policy.
Can the assistant change data?
No. It uses read-only tools, and each chat is written to the workspace's audit log.
