Stages per job
An ordered pipeline for each role, with time-in-stage clocks that highlight candidates who've stalled.
Mouse or keyboard
Drag cards, or focus one and press Shift + ← / → to move it a stage. Undo the last move.
A live board
Open boards pick up teammates' moves, tags and new applicants automatically while the tab is visible.
Move many candidates at once
Tick cards on the board or rows on the Candidates list, then move them to a stage, add a tag, add them to a talent pool or reject them with a reason.
- Up to 100 people per action
- Permission-checked per job
- Written to the audit log
- “Select all” respects your filter
Rejections with a reason, every time
Declining someone asks for a reason from your workspace's list, so your reports can tell you why people leave the funnel — before or after interviews.
- Admins edit the list in Settings → Pipeline
- Reasons feed the rejection report
- Bulk reject asks once for the whole selection
One profile per person
Notes with @mentions, scorecards, emails, interviews and every stage change sit on one timeline. Otter spots duplicates by email, or by similar name plus phone, and owners can merge them.
- Team and private notes
- Duplicate detection & merge (audit-logged)
- Talent pools for silver medallists
- Offer extended / accepted / declined tracking
Built for people who live in their tools
⌘K jumps to any candidate, job or action. G then C opens candidates, G then P the pipeline. Press ? any time to see every shortcut.
Can each job have different stages?
Yes. Every job has its own ordered list of stages, so an engineering role and a sales role can follow different processes.
How many candidates can I move at once?
Bulk actions work on up to 100 candidates at a time. Each action is permission-checked and written to the audit log.
Does the board update when a teammate moves someone?
Yes. An open board checks for changes about every 10 seconds while the tab is visible and shows whether it's live or paused.
Can I undo a move?
Yes — the board lets you undo your last move.
